IDOAP has identified Africa as a potential recipient of skilled employees to fill vacancies in Africa. To do this, we at IDOAP strive to encourage African professionals abroad to return to Africa to provide leadership roles in their respective fields of expertise. Africa needs its children to contribute to the development of the continent. For many decades, a number of Africans have been travelling abroad to further their education thus many have acquired valuable skills needed to solve some of the problems of manpower shortages in Africa. Unfortunately, many have not been returning to serve in their respective country resulting in the phenomenon commonly known as the brain drain of Africa. IDOAP seeks to reverse this trend by bringing about a new ethic of Africa’s brain asset.
IDOAP has identified and is gathering the database of African professionals and skilled workers living in different parts of the world to inform of their valuable skills for the benefit of Africa’s development. At the same time, these individuals would benefit from a rewarding and fulfilling career in their chosen African country for relocation.
In a nutshell, the brain drain of Africa by Western countries can be reversed once and for all. IDOAP seeks to bring about this vision by opening up African job markets exclusively to Africans. IDOAP endeavours to create the platform for the growth and development of African nation states by bringing home Africa’s human resources stranded abroad. To achieve this aspiration, IDOAP targets both successfully settled Africans abroad as well as those struggling to find an outlet to meaningful jobs in their respective profession.
IDOAP overall mission is to contribute to the nation building of African countries by providing specialized and professional workers to serve in Africa. Our organization will provide Africans living abroad a safe and independent environment back in Africa. It will provide Africa with a high calibre of its own children to serve in development projects and nation building thereby providing solutions for the shortages of African experts in leadership roles. We at IDOAP believe it is time to take positive action to promote the interest of Africa by calling on business organizations around the world to support our initiative and to make Africa a better place for all.
